Asthma helped by apple juice -  A recent study by the National heart and lung institute revealed that all fruit and veg have a benificial impact on asthma but only apple juice concentrate has a noticeable preventative effect.  In US studies it had been uncovered that vitamin D may also help to cut the risk of asthma. They discovered that pregnant women who had high levels of nutrients in their bodies were 40% less likely to have a baby with asthma.  Vitamin D is found in sun light, oily fish and margarine

Top tip
Don't despair if it feels like your child is getting one illness after another, take heart from the fact that every time they fight something then their immune system develops just that little bit more. However if you are worried then talk it over with a health professional.  If your child suffers from a long term illness get in touch with other parents in your position, our Mums say that it really can help to know that you are not alone. With this in mind we have included lots of links to help you to do this.
